Ivnit Kaur Bagga, MPharm, Independent Prescriber (Dermatology)

Ivnit Kaur Bagga, MPharmS, is a clinically enhanced independent prescriber with a specialist focus in dermatology, acne management, and biologic therapies. She currently practises within the NHS, where she plays a key role in managing complex dermatological conditions and high-cost drug therapies, alongside involvement in clinical research and advanced practitioner education.

With over a decade of pharmacy experience and a diverse clinical background, Ivnit has developed expertise across both inflammatory and cosmetic dermatology. Her NHS-led work encompasses psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, alopecia, and acne, while her private practice focuses on conditions such as hormonal acne, rosacea, melasma, perioral dermatitis, and photoageing.

Ivy’s academic foundation includes a Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice from UCL, the Independent Prescribing and Clinical Consultation Module from Medway School of Pharmacy (funded by an NHS England scholarship), and ongoing Advanced Practitioner Dermatology training at the University of Brighton.She is currently on the RPS-accredited Consultant Pharmacist in Dermatology pathway, and is due to achieve accreditation soon, reflecting her continued commitment to advancing clinical excellence within dermatology pharmacy practice.

She is also actively involved in UK dermatology research through BADBIR and international collaborative projects.

Her approach combines clinical precision with a deep understanding of skin of colour, integrating prescription medicine, patient education, and evidence-based cosmetic care to deliver comprehensive treatment outcomes.
